Chapter 5 - Becka - Date Night

It was Saturday already and the only thing on my mind was going out with Rick. I ran into my closet to find one of my best outfits, a pair of shoes to match and laid them on the bed. I had to look hot, it’s a must! When you’re going on a date, the time flies so fast that you have to make sure you got everything ready. I sat on my bed, laid back and started wondering if our second date would be the first step to a real friendship or the first step to a real relationship. It could be the first and final step to a booty call also, but he is not that crazy. He’s too young, educated and talented to want to die right now, so I hope he’s not fucking with his luck. Who could be calling me now? “Hello,” I said. “Hello, Becka it’s Tay and Jay,” Tay said, “What are you doing, are you ready for your date with Rick?” “Girl, I’m over here panicking.” I said while lying on the bed. “What are you panicking for?” Jay said while Tay continued and said, “You should be happy.” “Girl it’s complicated.” I replied. “Becka, get your ass into the shower, bathe and get ready to go on your date, it’s almost seven, if you feel he just wants to use you walk with the bottle of pepper spray we got last Tuesday at the Domestic Abuse Convention.” They both said. “What am I going to do with that? I’m not going to spray that thing into his eyes!” I said making myself clear. Tay started to laugh while Jay said, “Its either that or I do it! You chose.”
